Want to help out at Princess Street Promenade

We’re going to have a booth at the Princess Street Promenade on Saturday September 17 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Interested in coming out to help? Some ideas of what we might do at the booth:

  • draw for a pocket little forest kit for an urban yard

  • sign up sheet if interested in purchasing a pocket little forest kit in spring or fall of 2023

  • use chalk to create a 6x6 (or 3x3) m2 grid, with 3 seedlings, 3 layers in each m2

  • maybe a few stumps

  • micro tree nursery in one of the m2

  • use chalk to write the names of the trees in each m2

  • maybe a roll of sod rolled up to show a lawn being removed

These are just some initial ideas… if you’d like to help plan the booth & activities or want to help out at the booth, email [email protected] or add your comments to this google document. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zzTL1KTgwf_AJcL0qT8Fu8SwbOAPCu7-AGwpYYENqbU/edit?usp=sharing

Kingscourt grows by over 100 new trees!

We had a fabulous time distributing and planting trees in Kingscourt on Saturday. Check out the photos in this Google Photo album https://photos.app.goo.gl/TbmCnGpu6FpVe5Q36.

The Whig wrote a story. And watch for an article in the Kingstonist.
